Travel to San Miguel de Allende

San Miguel de Allende (SMA) is serviced by three airports: León (BJX), Querétaro (QRO), and Mexico City International (MEX). We recommend that all guests fly into Leon International Airport (BJX), as it is closest to San Miguel de Allende. However, Mexico City (MEX) will most likely have a greater variety of international flights and lower prices. Both León and Querétaro are an hour away, while Mexico City is about a three-hour drive from SMA.

Tall Pine Stables offers on-site OR off-site horse riding lessons for "Pre-Beginners" to "Intermediate" riders, with the emphasis on balance, strength, and safety. To make a well rounded rider, we teach horsemanship, which means that our students learn to care for the horse, its tack, and every aspect of its management.

Our knowledgeable instructors teach proper English and Western riding lessons as well as, basic ground handling.

Lessons are available on our farm with our safe and reliable lesson horses or you can bring your own horse! We can also travel to your barn for a small fee, which can be split if there is more than one lesson.

The farm is active in Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Western & Ranch Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Horsemanship, and Equitation. As well as; Showmanship, Halter, Trail, & Lunge Line.
